FOLIOLINK WEBSITE   HAPPENINGS - Pamela Walker Hart     CURRENT and UPCOMING EVENTS 2009 - JULY: Staying very busy since returning to my CNY Studio – with creativity consultations and writing. Plus, I continue to create my own works in my studio. In progress works include mixed media works on paper and free motion embroidery pieces. Both challenging and great fun! - FEBRUARY: Completed my-first-of-many-more-to-follow painting of the sun rising over the Ocean. It is a 36” x 24” acrylic on Canvas. - JANUARY: Hart is a contributing author in the 2009 book, IIGNITING CREATIVITY in Gifted Learners, edited by Joan Franklin Smutny. This book – available online at Amazon - is packed full of strategies for parents and teachers. Everyday creatives who want expand creative approaches and solutions will also find help. From math to music. From science and social studies to literary, visual & performance arts.    RECENT HAPPENING HIGHLIGHTS 2008 – DECEMBER: With my husband, located a wonderful winter retreat in Florida – at the beach near Jacksonville where I was born and raised. It is located on a small lake and only a short drive to the Atlantic Ocean. This is a wonderful development for me and my art. Plan to do works that will focus on the ocean and beaches. Plus the marsh land and spectacular St Johns River. All beloved stomping grounds of old – Now to be loved first hand once again! My husband – an avid outdoorsman and birder – is looking forward to this new, adventurous, next chapter in our life, too!
